Part of the TIDE Center's activities are aimed at considering new information delivery mechanisms. Specific attention is being given to Internet delivery systems (a prototype system will be developed for NJ in which individuals can have a unique profile and receive unique information), the delivery of traffic information by television (e.g., a "Traffic Channel"), and delivery using other mobile communications devices (e.g., improved user interfaces for cellular telephones and pagers).
