When printed, a piece of dialogue may use multiple physical lines, each of which can contain at most 40 characters. Each physical line must start with 20 spaces (that are not counted as part of the 40 characters). Line breaks must occur at word boundaries.
The first line in the dialogue must contain the name of the character (in uppercase),followed by " (CONT'D)" if it is continued, followed by " (V.O.)" if it is a voice over or " (O.S.)" if it is from off screen (note that there is a leading space before the parentheses). The entire first line must be centered in the dialogue's 40 character field.
The next line in the dialogue must contain the actions to be performed in parentheses, if there are any. This line, if it exists, must be centered in the dialogue's 40 character field, and must be all lowercase.
The next lines in the dialogue must contain the words, left-justified in the dialogue's 40 character field.
If the dialogue is "to be continued" the final line must contain "(MORE)" centered in the dialogue's 40 character.
A piece of dialogue must be followed by a blank line.
