Introduction
Show Me Your Code (SMYC) allows students to easily show their code to a Professor, Instructor, or Teaching Assistant when they aren't working at the same computer.
Typical Usage Scenario
SMYC is most commonly used as follows:
- You are talking to a student remotely about a problem they are having.
- You ask them to show you their code.
- They use a Sharer to select the files to show you and click on [Share].
- A Viewer opens and they copy the link/URL.
- They send you the link of the Viewer.
- You open the Viewer.
- You highlight sections of the code or type suggestions as needed.
Another Usage Scenario
SMYC is sometimes also used as follows:
- You are talking to a student remotely about a problem they are having.
- You would like to be able to type code fragments.
- You open the Viewer (which opens with a scratch pad).
- You send them the link of the Viewer.
- They open the Viewer.
