About the System: Version 1 of Way is being designed/developed for/by Nearby. It is envisioned as the first release of a personal navigation system.

The data team has created the following "digital map" files that can be used for testing purposes:
The USA file was created from the US Census Bureau's TIGER Boundary Files. The TIGER files were "thinned" (to make them more useful for testing purposes) and re-formatted.
The World file was created from the Central Intelligence Agency's World Data Bank II. The WDBII files were "thinned" (to make them more useful for testing purposes) and re-formatted.

The system must satisfy the following physical requirements:
PR-1 The system must have a single map window.
The system must satisfy the following operational requirements:
OR-1 The system must use one command-line parameter to determine which map to display. (see Needs U-1)
OR-2 The system must use one command-line parameter to determine which map projection to use. (see Needs U-2)
OR-3 The system must display the appropriate map using the appropriate projection using the entire window. (see Needs S-1 and S-2)
