Hey travis,
Here is the encryption software I have been working on for the past 2 weeks.
Keep in mind it is STRONG encryption based on the BLOWFISH algorithm developed 
in 1993 by Bruce Schneier.  Don't loose your encryption passwords for any data 
you wish to see again unencrypted, or you are up shit creek.  
Blowfish is UNCRACKABLE for all practical purposes.

The program is written in Java, so if you have not installed a Java 
runtime environment (JRE) you need to download and install one.

After you have installed the JRE, you should be able to run BlowEdit 
by clicking on 'BlowMe.bat'  You must keep the BlowEdit and BlowfishJ 
directories beside the BlowMe.bat file for it to run.

After BlowEdit is running, you may type anything into the text editor 
you want, then click the encrypt option.  Enter a key and it will encrypt it.  
You may then save the encrypted text to the disk.  When you open a file later, 
you can choose the decrypt option to make it readable again.  

REMEMBER: BlowEdit was designed to replace my notepad program so 
I can work with regular text files too;  thus if you save your work 
WITHOUT ENCRYPTING IT FIRST it will NOT be saved in an encrypted form!!! 
Any text file which contains truly sensitive information should be manually 
opened after quitting BlowEdit, just to make sure it looks good.

Also, this is only an Alpha version.  The warning to save your 
work function does not work.  Never click the 'new' icon before you save, 
or you will loose all your work.
