Announcements and Record of Updates:

·         15 Apr 2008, 1750 hrs:  Two slide sets are now posted (hypertext link will be found below):  one on the term project, and the other on errors often made by students.  Also posted is the evaluation form that I use in grading your term project.

·         11 Apr 2008, 0920 hrs:  List of topics for term papers is now posted (URL will be found below).

·         14 Mar 2008, 1600 hrs:  Assignments are now posted through the next two weeks.  Refer to the Course Map for due dates.

·         20 Feb 2008, 0245 hrs:  The assignments document is now updated through Assignment 7.

·         09 Feb 2007, 1425 hrs:  The assignments document is now updated through Assignment 6 (due next week).

·         01 Feb 2008, 1300 hrs:  The assignments document is now updated through Assignment 5 (due next week).

·         23 Jan 2008, 0245 hrs:  As agreed in class, we will make up for last Thursday’s class, which was cancelled due to the closing of the university because of snow, on this coming Monday evening, 28 January 2008, from 1700-1815 hrs.  Room is to be announced.

The assignments document has now been updated through Assignment 4.  As I stated in class, I will not collect the deliverable for Assignment 3 until Monday evening’s class.

·         11 Jan 2008, 0140 hrs:  Assignments document is now posted, containing Assignments 1 and 2.  Also posted is a Tutorial on the Representation of Numbers in Digital Computers, and on Digital Integer Arithmetic, and a set of review questions on Binary Integer Arithmetic.  The links to all three documents appear below.

·         08 Jan 2007, 2216 hrs:  Introduced two small changes into the text of the course syllabus to eliminate Inconsistencies within the text.  The new text read throughout that I will drop the  one lowest homework grade and the one lowest quiz grade.

·         07 Jan 2008, 2315 hrs:  Posted list of Required Texts and Materials, Course Syllabus, and course Map.
