Review of Basic Networking Concepts.

Transport & Network layers' protocols: IP, ARP, RARP, ICMP, IGMP,
UDP, TCP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, and Multicast Routing Protocols.

Socket Interface and TCP Applications:  BOOTP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, SNMP.

New Issues: IP over ATM, Mobile IP, Internet Security, VPNs.

Homework & Research Assignments 35%
Tests (combined, 2 mid-term tests ) 40%
Final Exam (comprehensive) 25%

Grade thresholds as follows:

                  A: 90%         B: 80%-89%         C: 70%-79%         D: 55%-69%       F: <55%
