Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
learn the foundation of, and reason with, compound and quantified logic statements. Boolean Algebra is studied as an application
apply the different proof methods to problems in the domain of elementary number theory.
manipulate mathematical sequences, and prove some of their properties using mathematical induction.
learn the basics of Set Theory as a foundation for studying functions and relations.
Learn basic counting techniques
Other Topics may be covered as time permits.
