Announcements and Record of Updates:
· 21 Apr 2010, 1845 hrs: A revised and updated Verb Conjugation Chart is now posted.
· 19 Apr 2010, 2000 hrs: Assignments are now posted to the end of the semester. Please do the reading part of Assignment 10 by this coming Thursday, 22 April. Because of the lateness of the posting, I will not collect the written assignments until Tuesday, 27 April. Assignment 11 is due on 29 April 2010.
· 28 Mar 2010, 2245 hrs: Reminder of announcements that were made in class last Thursday: (1) Class will not meet this coming Tuesday, 30 March 2010 or on the following Tuesday, 06 April 2010. Instead, extra-heavy-duty assignments have been made for the next two weeks. (2) Assignment 7 (the first of the special assignments) is due on Thursday, 01 April 2010, when class will meet as usual. Prof. Frances Flannery will be conducting the class on that evening. (3) Assignment 8 (the other special assignment) is due on Thursday, 08 April 2010, when I expect to conduct class as usual. (4) Assignment 9, an ordinary assignment, is due on Thursday, 15 April 2010.
· 26 Mar 2010, 0545 hrs: Assignments 1 through 9 are now posted.

19 Mar 2010, 1435 hrs:
(1) Assignments 1 through six,
which were given out last night in class in hardcopy form, are now posted on
this web page.
(2) the four tables from chapter
3 of my textbook — Tables
3-4 through 3-7 — are now complete and are also posted
here. Hardcopies of these tables are
available in the envelope that is taped to the door of my office (
(3) There will be a quiz in class
this coming Thursday (25 March 2010), which will cover the material through
Assignment 6, including not only the writing and the spelling, but also the
reading exercises, to include especially reading from the TaNaKH,
so be sure to work very diligently on the assigned University of Texas
readings.
· 17 Feb 20110, 0200 hrs: Assignment 3 has been distributed to the class via E-mail.
